Position: Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

Job Type: Contract / Retainership Basis

Location: Lahore (Central Zone)

Age Limit: 35 to 45 years

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years (including house job)

🎓 Qualification Requirements

MBBS degree from a PMDC-recognized institution (attested copy required)

Valid PMDC license is mandatory

FCPS qualification will be preferred

At least 5 years of experience, including a house job in general medicine

3 years of experience in tertiary healthcare will be considered an added advantage

🕒 Duty Timings

03 to 05 hours daily between 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on working days

Must be available online/telephonically beyond office hours for emergency situations

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Attend and manage emergency medical cases when required

Examine NICL employees and refer them to specialists or hospitals as necessary

Visit hospitals where NICL employees or their dependents are admitted

Scrutinize, verify, and endorse medical bills from hospitals, labs, chemists, and employees

Conduct medical examinations of newly recruited employees

Review and manage cases of chronic diseases

Administer medical facilities and control healthcare-related expenses

Provide recommendations to improve employee wellbeing and reduce unnecessary medical costs

Advise management on healthcare safety measures and prevention of infectious or viral outbreaks

Perform any other medical duties assigned by NICL management

Handle medical matters related to Zonal and Branch Offices of NICL Central Zone

📜 Terms & Conditions

Appointment is on a purely retainer-ship basis

Residence in Lahore is mandatory for effective 24/7 service availability

Either party may terminate the arrangement with one month’s written notice or payment in lieu thereof

The CMO will not be considered a permanent or contractual employee of NICL

Remuneration will be treated as medical/administrative expense (withholding tax applicable)

Selection will be strictly on merit basis

No TA/DA will be admissible for interview
