🎯 Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for policy formulation, coordination, and oversight of social sector development initiatives, including:

Promote and develop social capital, including SDGs, poverty alleviation, and social harmony in coordination with key stakeholders

Prepare and evaluate social sector development plans

Analyze implementation of social sector policies and programs

Organize and manage research studies and share findings with line ministries and relevant agencies

Guide regions and sectors lacking adequate project portfolios

Assess social and political conditions for effective plan execution

Develop short, medium, and long-term implementation plans

Coordinate with development partners on Pakistan-specific country strategies

Participate in CDWP and ECNEC meetings as a sector expert

Perform additional assignments as directed by the Prime Minister, Minister for Planning, DCPC, or Secretary PD&SI

🎓 Qualification & Experience

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Ph.D. in a Social Sector-related field from an HEC-recognized national or international university with at least 14 years of policy-level experience, OR

Master’s degree in a relevant Social Sector field with at least 18 years of policy-level experience
